Targhee Baptist church will be holding a children's vacation bible school (VBS) from Wednesday June 28th through Friday the 30th. It is for ages 5-12, and will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
As the theme suggests, there will be s'mores, singing, and a camp-out theme held in the church, on 57 S Main street in Driggs, Idaho. Kids will be given flashlights, glow-in-the-dark wrist bands, and will be participating in singing, crafts, and lessons about Jesus and how he is the light!
Participation is free of charge -- if you're interested, we'd love to have you send us a message to let us know!
All are welcome; more information will be posted soon!
Since the opening of the Targhee Baptist Food Box -- a box where folks can both give and receive free food for those in need, we've had many people donating produce, breads, baby formula, and more! Encourage anyone you know to go ahead and enjoy the food box--they don't have to be under a certain income level! Anyone can take and anyone can give.
Please tell everyone you can, and as more people take, more people can give without good food going to waste.
Thanks for the participation! Please spread the word!
Due to folks being out of town, the Men's Breakfast for this month has been changed from the thirteenth of May to the third of June (first Saturday of the month). If interested, contact Pastor Kevin and let him know! Hope to see you there!
Join us once a month on Saturday Mornings for Men's breakfast at Targhee Baptist Church. Fill your belly and start your weekend off right with wholesome food & fellowship.

Brother Jack Wood Jr and wife Linda stopped by once again--and what a blessing they were! Sis. Linda sang, "No One Ever Cared For Me Like Jesus," and Bro. Jack "gave us a thought," as he calls it, about truly living, believing, and following the Lord. The message was followed by fellowship, meatball subs (and other assorted goodies!), and a few songs from "O Brother Where Art Thou."
Stop by and join the fellowship!
BRING YOUR INSTRUMENTS! Folks will be gathering together at 6:00 pm before the Wednesday Night Service to play musical instruments and sing. It's not formal--just fun! All are welcome to come, learn, play, sing, or just sit back and enjoy the fellowship.
WHY YOU SHOULD ATTEND WEDNESDAY NIGHT The Wednesday Night service holds not only fellowship, but the weekly chapter break-down of the Bible from beginning to end, beginning in of the most legendary books: Genesis. Genesis is known for it's documentation of the first humans on Earth, the fall of man, the feud between Cain and Abel, Noah and Noah's Ark, the first covenants from God to man, and much, much more. We're now in Chapter 5.
So stop by and enjoy some music, and stick around for the teachings and discussion of the Bible.
Hope to see you there!
